Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Metrospark Cleaning Services. These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by us. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms below.

 

1. Services

We provide professional cleaning services including, but not limited to:

  • Residential cleaning

  • Commercial cleaning

  • End-of-tenancy and pre-move cleans

  • Serviced accommodation changeovers

  • Deep cleaning

  • Communal area cleaning

  • Window cleaning

  • Oven cleaning

  • Carpet and upholstery cleaning

  • Pressure washing

  • Bespoke cleaning services by prior agreement

The scope of work for each booking will be agreed in advance by quotation, email, message, or verbal confirmation.

 

2. Bookings

Appointments may be made via phone, email, social media, or our website.

A booking is only confirmed once confirmation has been issued by Metrospark Cleaning Services.

All bookings are subject to availability.

 

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are based on the information provided by the client and the visible condition of the property at the time of quoting.

Quoted prices may be revised if:

  • the condition of the property materially differs from what was described;

  • access issues cause delays;

  • additional work is requested;

  • excessive soiling, waste, or unforeseen conditions require additional labour or materials.

Where reasonably possible, any additional charges will be discussed before work continues.

 

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Where less than 48 hours’ notice is given, we reserve the right to charge 25% to 50% of the booked service cost, depending on the notice provided and work scheduled.

 

5. Access to Property

The client must ensure access to the property at the agreed time.

If access is unavailable, delayed, or prevented for reasons outside our control, we reserve the right to reduce service time, reschedule the appointment, or charge a call-out fee.

 

6. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the service.

For commercial, regular contract, or account clients, alternative payment terms may be agreed in advance.

Late payment may result in suspension of future services until the outstanding balance is cleared.

 

7. Cleaning Standards

We aim to provide a reliable, professional, and consistent service.

Standard cleans are carried out to a professional maintenance level. Deep cleaning tasks are not included unless specifically quoted.

 

8. Deep Cleans and Additional Services

Deep cleans, oven cleaning, internal fridge cleaning, laundry, linen changes, consumable restocking, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and other additional services must be agreed in advance and may be charged separately.

 

9. Customer Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • provide access to water and electricity where required;

  • secure pets where necessary;

  • remove valuables, cash, and sensitive personal belongings from working areas;

  • notify us in advance of any fragile items, hazards, special instructions, allergies, or sensitive surfaces/materials.

We cannot accept responsibility for items not disclosed before work begins.

 

10. Health and Safety

Clients must disclose any known health or safety risks, including but not limited to pest infestations, mould, biohazards, or hazardous substances.

We reserve the right to refuse, stop, or reschedule work if the environment is considered unsafe for our staff.

Our staff use appropriate PPE, professional cleaning products, and safe working procedures.

 

11. Special Conditions for Window Cleaning and Pressure Washing

For external cleaning services:

  • suitable access must be available;

  • outdoor water access may be required;

  • any damaged, fragile, loose, or poorly sealed windows, frames, or surfaces must be disclosed before work begins.

Metrospark Cleaning Services is not liable for water ingress, damage caused by pre-existing defects, poor seals, structural issues, or previously weakened surfaces.

 

12. Satisfaction Guarantee and Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any completed work, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion.

Where appropriate, we will be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where necessary, rectify any issue.

 

13. Before-and-After Photos

Metrospark Cleaning Services may take before-and-after photographs of areas cleaned for:

  • quality control;

  • service records;

  • staff training;

  • marketing and promotional purposes.

Photographs will not intentionally include sensitive personal information.

If you do not wish photographs to be used for promotional purposes, please notify us in writing before the scheduled service.

 

14. Liability

Metrospark Cleaning Services is fully insured.

However, our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

We are not liable for:

  • pre-existing damage;

  • normal wear and tear;

  • damage caused by faulty fixtures, fittings, seals, or poor installation;

  • issues arising from products, materials, or equipment supplied by the client.

 

15. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Customer information is handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.

We do not sell or share customer information with third parties unless required by law or necessary for service administration.

 

16. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • extreme weather;

  • transport disruption;

  • natural disasters;

  • illness;

  • pandemics;

  • utility failures.

 

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

The most current version will always be available on our website.

 

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
